Mustang brakes on a granada spindle
#3
69 Mustang disc brakes use a spindle that uses a 7/16" and a 9/16" bolt to secure the caliper bracket. The Granada spindle is essentially identical except the bolts are 7/16" and 1/2". Your Buddy probably used a 1/2" bolt to secure the 9/16" mount hole on the 69 caliper bracket. This would probably result in an insecure mount (movement).

There is nothing about the Granada brakes, vs the Mustang Brakes that are alike, except the Name FORD.
The Granada brake use Different Calipers, Different Caliper Brackets (Yes, with Different attachments, measurements, etc), different bearings than the 68 69 Mustang, Different Tie Rods, Different Rotors (smaller rotors) , Different wheels (Stock Mustang will not fit Granada),
The only reason those out there state "Are Alike, the same", is to push these parts, fool the public into buying inferior HIGH priced products that folks find out don't fit without much Hacking, Turmoil.
