Just a note on the weather...I'm with you here in CT. This has been a tough couple of weeks. I've never sweat so much in my garage....Its NUTS. I even tried working on it LATE at night....still too hot and humid. Next garage will have AC.

I had mentioned in your other thread that you might have problems with that linkage using a diaphram clutch, sounds like it was a problem for the PO as well judging from what you found when you pulled it apart. I think the cable should solve that part of your problem. Has your T-5 been apart recently? Since it doesn't seem to vibrate without the tranny in place, but it's there with once you hook up the tranny it soulds like you might have a bad output shaft bearing causing that vibration, it's hard to be sure without actually hearing it myself, has it been getting progressively worse since you noticed it?

No I haven't had this T5 apart, but it's the second T5 that I have had in there and the vibration was the same.

I took it out tonight and it's better than it was, but maybe because I buttoned it up with a Ron Morris trans crossmember instead of my modified one.

Nope just a good rubber mount. It seems a bit better now. Just glad the clutch is smooth.
