^^^agreed. i wouldve gone demon if i wasnt broke at the time and knowing i was eventually going to build my 347. anything smaller than 500 it going to choke the 289. a short answer with the single vs. dual plane intakes is that duals will idle a bit better and make lower rpm power while singles need a bit more rpm to idle nicely but will make higher end rpm power. in short....if its a stoke 289....go with a dual plane either the weiand or a edlebrock air gap
