RE: Connecting a 66 mustang radio
If you can get me a closer/better pic of the back of the unit I can prolly help ya a lil more.
My guess at the moment is your gonna have to hard wire it. Unless you have been up in your dash and there are the connectors that hook up to those plugs I see on the back of that unit. Another guess is that it only has... power, ground and either one or two leads for speakers. That should be about 4 wires. Not hard to wire, just gotta figure out whats what. You might try sending an email to the guy your got it from, ask him how he had it wired up? Does he have the connections, does he know what wires are what.
Good luck, man, try to get some closer pics

RE: Connecting a 66 mustang radio
I put in a new one, (CD/MP3 player) I found it was way easier to just re-hard wire the whole thing. But I'm pretty good at wiring and hiding wires. Theres a link to my post

RE: Connecting a 66 mustang radio
Do you want to hard wire it, or get the plug that it needs. Try NPD(National Parts Depot), they have some of that stuff. Otherwise, would'nt ANY old Ford plug work??? Boneyards have plenty of them I'm sure.
