Yep, they are the sequential LEDs.

We got some blasting done today and will continue tomorrow.

Can't wait to get this underside cleaned up. The copper paint is a new weld-thru primer we're using. I'm not just trying to make excuses but I think it makes it look even rustier!!

Hightower these are for you:

Wow. Did either of you two have any prior experience with this kind of massive undertaking? This looks awesome!

Sort of, my husband did a firebird when he was in high school. He grew up with the wrench in his hand while I grew up with a silver spoon haha. We've fixed up some motorcycles but this is the biggest car project. Honestly we weren't expected to dig this deep but with all the surprises she's given us, we couldn't help it! She was RUSTY! Solid fastbacks are hard to come by these days, especially in Ohio.

Anyways, been outa town, not too many new updates but I wanted to show you guys what was on the doorstep when we got home!!

Aaron continued to grind and weld while I finished stripping the roof.

At least the red/blue is gone, finally! Hopefully I'll have some better updates at the end of the week.

Are you coating the bare floor metal with something like Rust Bullet or is that just black paint?

Rustoleum black paint only to protect it from any rusting because then I'll have to wire wheel it all again. And we only painted it on the interior floors, the rest of the interior that is black is painted with Chassis Saver. We are planning on lizard skinning the floor as well and sound deadenating, etc.

We are painting the bottom with SPI epoxy primer and SPI bedliner.

We also did bedliner on the bottom but chose SEM, mostly because I have a distributor that's close to home. We did the lizard skin on the inside, get yourself an undercoat gun or use the bedliner gun to spray it on. I bought an undercoat gun. After we complete the paint we're going to be going heavy with body wax to give it an extra line of protection from rust.

I was just looking at your pictures and was noticing the subframe connectors. Are those home-made, or did you buy them? I really like the way they look and would like to do the same on mine.
