Thanks guys! Not too exciting of an update but we spent a LOT of time getting this new hood to fit the way we wanted it to. She certainly threw us for a loop but after we shot some primer, it was another "worth it" moment.

The driver's side was bowed. With some cutting and re fiberglassing, it turned out pretty nice.



The passenger side too needed some work to straighten it out. It was a lot of effort to get it how we wanted, but to me it was worth it 100%.

Ahhhh I can't believe it's a week away. So much work to do still. You have to promise you'll be easy on her!

I promise. I'm excited to see it in person is all. I'll probably take a few pictures myself because this is my son's favorite car, well as far as muscle cars and mustangs are concerned.

Next Saturday isn't a deadline for you guys to be done, it's just a day for you to show off your progress and craftmanship and talk to other mustang owners and restorers. I'm not a betting man; but if I were, I'd bet there won't be a soul there that will ask why you're not further along than you are.
