I will be driving my 69 in flat black primer for awhile (when I get it out of the shop on it's current spending spree) because I am a long ways from where you are with this pretty lady.

Saw your car in ROTY, had to take a look. All i can say is WOW! You're doing one hell of a job. Cant wait to see it done.

My friend Dave spent the last 2 years on the same build- Wouldnt be surprised if you guys competed for some harder to find parts! His is, from what Ive seen, the most accurate reproduction one around(even a movie original hood & tire tread). Lot of man hours in it- guess you have them when you cant legally drink!

Haha! And then there are people like myself who would have for money for mustang parts if they backed off the wine consumption!! Actually I've met your friend Dave. His car is very movie correct, but I will beg to differ that his tires are correct. I've busted him on it already, so no secret! The movie car used Eagle F1's but who's keeping track Anyway, thanks for checking out my thread.

Here is the link for everyone else - vote if you would like!! https://mustangforums.com/forum/ride...-the-year.html

It looks like that's a cosmetic roll-bar. Im curious about those. Do they interfere much with the interior trim?

Rols574, the roll bar is cosmetic and will interfere with the interior panels. The solution is simple however, as you just cut the factory panel and install a Shelby roll bar donut on each side.

Xring01, I think you have to have a certain number of posts in order to vote? Someone else mentioned they could not vote either and they had less than 50 posts. Thank you so much for trying though!!

Thank you!! Haha chevy nut swinger, that's funny. Sorry it's so long, hopefully the back end of the build will be faster. At least it better be!
