Sounds like you have really become the expert on the Eleanor kits and parts!
Yes that is the Super Snake hood. It looks so good, huh?

It looks Bad A$$! Though I don't think you have any photos of the hood dead on, you really can't tell that it's off center. But I guess when you put stripes on it, you can.

I think I will be using the super snake hood and will probably use the MTF hood.

NoReigns, I have missed the updates as of late. Glad you had some things to post about. I absolutely love the hinges you are putting on. Where did you buy them? A specific website? Oh and if you are missing your car enough to be excited about block sanding...I will fly you down when I get closer to painting mine. Not looking forward to the sanding portion of the paint and body stage.

I enjoy the block sanding. It's really the time to make a car look great.

We bought them from Matt's Classic Bowties, they are Eddie Motorsport brand. But I'm warning you, they don't fit. They were willing to offer us a refund if we wanted to return them, but they weren't willing to help us make them fit as they claimed they have sold over 300 pairs with no issues whatsoever. We have however held these hinges side by side with the ones Ring Brothers makes, and the EMS hinges are superior in terms of quality. If I were to do it again I would look into the ones that Fessler just started making before paying to have the EMS hinges fit.

Yes, I too enjoy block sanding. I hated it in the beginning but learned to love it!

No, not too much progress to show but here are a few from the last couple days. He drilled the holes for the mirrors and fit the modlings since we replaced the quarters. The car should be primed again soon, blocked again and then hopefully the final prime and block soon after.

Modified Mustangs & Fords took this and posted it on their FB.
