wow, almost feels like I've been with you all for the past 5 years....Thanks for the most amazing thread I've ever perused on any auto forum...ever. I'll be poking around and letting this tab close on my browser, but I'm sure I'll be back.
When you were having your engine fitment troubles....I was going to say cut the hood.....but then again, when I saw the hood....I'm glad you cut the engine instead. Now are we sure there aren't clearance issues? No test fit yet, right?

Thanks! I'm glad you've enjoyed it. We shouldn't have any clearance issues with the lower intake manifold.
This past weekend we ran the fuel lines (which I didn't take any pictures of but I will get some) and last night we dropped the motor in. We changed the distributor cap to black. I don't want anything to be red or blue or any other color - just black.

I like yours better but this sounds like a nice build. If you had done this on Facebook you would have surpassed them. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ford-...74999102517219
Any more updates on your car?

I know Mathias, very nice guy and yes - awesome build indeed! He's done a couple cool things with his Eleanor build in the past. But, I bet you don't know there is a bow tie under that hood!
I figured it'd be only a matter of time someone ask for an update. Truthfully no, there has been absolutely no progress on Eleanor whatsoever. The truth is, we installed the engine when I was 9 months pregnant, and I was actually under the car on a creeper helping run the fuel lines while 9 months pregnant. We welcomed our little boy on July 16th

Thanks, guys! And congratulations 69fb Do you know boy or girl yet? Our future Mustang fan's name is Emmett! I keep telling him if he'd help save on the diaper bill we'd have more money for car parts. I haven't got a response out of him yet!
