Smile Pics of the completed 68!!!

Finally completed and ready for the road. After 5 years, it is worth the wait. Went with the Legend Lime with dark gray stripes. Close to the original color. Went with a mild mod interior. Black and silver theme. Did not turn out too bad. Time to get out and open up that 302 and have some fun.

Looks sweet, jmstang68. That's the same color I'm going to be painting my '68 coupe. Legend Lime is the closest thing you can get to Lime Gold. Ours is a father/son project and my son wants white stripes but I may have to show him your pictures since I favor black. He also wants to paint the inner doors the exterior color even though I wanted black but I may have to re-think that.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Bitter, I thought the same thing but the paint guy talked me into doing the inner panels the same color as the outside and I am glad I did. I was going to go black inside as well at first. I also thought about white stripes but the darker charcol color really looks nice outside in the sun. Now my 13 year old son keeps telling me that he wants this car when he turns 16. Might have to think about that one....

Did you smooth the texture of the inner door?
