Help...Interior doesn't match
I need your help. The paint shop just sprayed the dash/door/qtr panel of my 65 coupe white (they custom created the color). Upon inspection it looked a bit gray to me. I had the shop provide a color sample of the white indicated in the paint formula book. This white had warmer tones.
I took samples home and I compared to my interior parts and discovered that there were two white colors in my car before restoration. The new seat covers (from TMI) and the old door panels (original) seem to match the DuPont formula white color.
The new door panels (from Dashes Direct) and the original back seat seem to match the grayer colored white.
I'm not sure which direction to go here. Should I try to match the color of the TMI seat covers and try to order a TMI door panel (and hope it matches)? Or do I keep the grayer color on the car to match the door panels and allow the seats to be slightly off?
Thoughts?
