The motorcraft 1100 carb I've got is basically shot and I need a replacement,,not looking for a pony one,,to much money..

I've never seen a "Motorcraft" 1100. Production of the 1100 stopped several years before the "Motorcraft" name appeared.

If it is an 1100, the Autolite 1100 was a superb carburetor, well worth rebuilding. If the wear is beyond what you can do, there are other rebuilders than the one to which you allude.

same opinion here, if you want to stay with a single barrell, I'd use that autolite1100

The 6 cylinder Granadas came with a Holley one barrel that works good as a replacement for the 1100. Junk yard would be the place to start or you may be able to pick up a rebuilt at your local auto parts store.
