Not perfect, I know. But I think it's a saved car now. This car was givin' up on by atleast two owners. Come to think of it maybe they were the smart ones? Anyhow, I did as much as I want to do. Off to paint.
Any ideas on colors? Pictures please.

LOL.....When I was fifteen or sixteen an older friend of mine had a Mustang just like this one, and it was white with blue stripes. He was going over seas in the Marines and would sell it to me for $1,500 bucks. I wanted it soo bad, but my Dad vetoed the deal. I think he thought I would hot rod around in it. He would of been right! My point being, that's the only color scheme I can see this car in. I was hoping for some different ideas. Also, my last three cars have been white. I like white cars too. But this one I'd like to see different.
I have a question. What do you all think a professional shop would of charged to do a job like this? Just rust repair, not counting the parts?
Any guesses?

My 65FB is white, a friend said it needed blue stripes. The suck part is that friend has a real deal GT-350 with rust still on it, never been touched. I cannot imagine trying to pull off that look at the cruise in parking anywhere near a real deal car with a trunk mount battery with the original cobra vent caps and air cleaner.
But, on the other hand the original owner did not pony up for the dealer stripe option...cheap bastage LOL.

I really like the white with blue stripes. I saw a '65 Fastback in 29 Palms a few months back that was a sort of off yellow color. Not usually my type of color, but it looked good. Didn't even have any stripes.
Another question. What makes a Mustang a "2+2", or not?

First it seats 2 in the back seat instead of the typical 3. This is because the back seat is fold down.
Then there's some kind of advanced ventilation system, that lets in fresh air with all the windows closed and stale air exists.
I might be missing a few things there, IDK.

2+2 seating
I keep thinking that the "+2" referred to the "+2" as being "+2, occasionally", as most adults really wouldn't want to sit there for the entire duration of a lengthy trip.
Impressive work, bent.
I don't even know where you'd go to get that sort of work done other than by a shop that specializes in restoration or custom work. Specialized, as in $$$$pecialized.
