What happens when you drive the new camaro

LOL omg wow!!!. I thought i was the only one. My brother in-law works at a Rydel dealship and he let me test drive the new Camaro. I only got to drive the V6 6spd and the V8 auto. Visually, I think those cars are very stylish and almost futuristic looking but, once I sat inside I was soooo disappointed by the lack of well anything on the dash, and it's ridiculously huge looking steering well and gauges.
There's blind spots everywhere in that car! plus under heavy acelleration that car sounds like a lil Nissan struggling to pull 4,000lbs!

Screw new cars, IMO the Challenger, Mustang and Camaro are the only new cars that look worth a damn to me, and with their high price and marginal performance I don't even want one.
All other cars that are remotely affordable to the masses all look pretty much like the same ugly *** 4 door sedan.... no thanks.
I will stick with my old **** from here on out, I have already bought my last new vehicle.
I can build a damn nice classic for 35 or 45K....

That's pretty disappointing to hear about the V6 camaro. I know the V8 is pretty good though. And the V8 SS can't be touched, even by a GT mustang. But then there's the Shelby GT500... but then the Hurst Camaro... It goes on and on, haha.
My old man is planning to get a camaro in about a year and I tried to talk him into getting a mustang until he mentioned he was getting the SS V8, upon which hearing I immediately shut up, haha.

I told this story in another forum, but...on our way to Reno for Hot August Nights, my friends 1970 Boss 302 broke down (bad intake manifold gasket, water in the oil) in Medford, OR. He ended up renting a new V6 Camaro for the trip to Reno...on some of the straight aways, that little V6 did get up and go, we hit 100+ easily, I was following in a `08 GT Vert, the Camaro was no slouch....but the Mustang was able to keep up...

I think the new Camaro is hideous anyway especially from the rear. I want nothing to do with the newer cars. I agree that the visibility in the Camaro and Challenger sucks. I'll stick with 2004 and older Mustang or even 2002 and older Camaro and Firebird, before I go with a newer one. I would rather have any of these than a new one. They are all big, bloated, heavy, and ugly. The new Challenger looks kinda cool and the 05-09 Mustang looks ok, but thats it. I'd rather have a GN or Typhoon/Cyclone. Actually, When I start looking for something to replace my F150 as my daily driver, it will be an 87-93 5.0. At that point the truck will be retired from daily use and become the family truck.
