Default 1969 Mustang Mach I

Hi, I have traded for a real nice unrestored 69 Mach I, 351 W Automatic. I have a 70 Mach I, 4spd, shake rattle and roll but I wont this one to be stock looking and do not want to butcher it in anyway. I have a 03 Cobra with the Super charger and LOVE it. Is there a way to get that motor to work in the 69 without braking the bank. I have found a new motor with clutch and pp for $10k. I would prefer an Automatic as I hate the 6 spd.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ronnie

To put a mod motor in a early mustang is a big job you have to cut out the shock towers weld in a mustang 2 kit make or find a trans cross member to fit the trans you use wiring and fuel will be fun.But for the price of the engine and mustang 2 kit http://www.worldcastings.com/product...e-engines.html but still need a trans and rear end to handle the power either way.

Forgive me but putting an 03 motor in a 69 is a huge step away from stock. You have the 03 motor already, go with the 351w and put the 10K into that motor. That would be an awesome motor!

After being a ford tech id never own a mod motor its too much of a pain to fix anything on them.To pull head you gotta pull the engine a small block i can have the head off and back on in the time it takes to pull a engine. For 10k i could build a pretty nasty big block and make more power too.
