It is high quality and has an aluminum cap with an O ring seal. The seller was quick too. I bought the 17 x2 inch model but they come in different sizes. I plan on getting another one and doing away with the windshield washer bag.

Does this tank recirculate the recovered coolant or is it just a catch can?

Diagram on one of the ebay sellers shows their model to be recirculating; overflow tube goes high in the tank.

This model appears similar design so I'm expecting it to be recirculating.

Perhaps Chris66dad can verify for this seller?

It does recirculate the coolant and keeps the radiator topped off to its "sweet spot". I add coolant to the overflow tank just like a modern cars cooling system.
The tank he sells is the same one that Mustang stores sell for $60

I bought 13" x 2" coolant recovery bottles for my 64.5 and 67 mustangs.
Nice and heavy duty.
Almost perfect.
Only complaint is bottle nipple is smaller than radiator nipple.
I'm very pleased.

I am using a glass fruit jar looking one from an old Ford Tannus. We made a bracket/basket to hold it. This picture doesn't show it all that well. Its in the front driverside corner.
