where to find door lock hardware at

Default where to find door lock hardware at

i need the 3 bolts that hold the door latch onto the the door so in turn i need 6 of them im replacing rusty screws and cant find the right thread ect at the parts places in town does anybody know what size they are i know they are a 1/2 inch long but dont know what thread size they are i know weirld huh lol

Any mustang parts house will carry those. You may find them at a local hardware store if you need them asap. NPD, CJ Pony Parts, Dallas Mustang, Mustang Depot, etc.

yeah i found them at cj pony parts lol i tried to save money but o well im just gonna buy the hole latch assembly also since we will need that when we start restoring the car anyways :0 ) thanks for all your help guys i just didnt want to pay the 6 bucks for 6 screws lol o well now im off to buy that and the front and back window trim and rubber

Um, Glazier/Nolan sells the special hardened screws. $6 for both doors. You can't get these at the hardware store. I'm not sure the latch comes with them, either, so you still may need to buy them.

www.totallystainless.com get them in stainless and never worry about them rusting again. I bought their kits, when I finally reassemble my 66 every fastener will be stainless.
