Default Mustangs Unlimited

Christ, I just had a 7 paragraph rant and lost my connection. Here is the short of it.

I had a $5300 order that was missing a ton of parts that were supposed to be included in the quote- Seat backs, rear wheel bearings, sun visors, wheel studs, seat hinge covers, armrest, console pieces, among other things. Do NOT place a large order with them without getting a parts list emailed first. My sales guy tried to put the responsibility on me, which is bullsht.

Huge thumbs down with the whole MU experience.

I've had many good experiences with NPD, Maybe you should give them a try if you're not happy with Mustangs Unlimited.

NPD is great if you like spending way more money that you need to...my SSBC brake kit was 500$ cheaper elsewhere...

Were the parts missing, or back-ordered?

I get my parts from Glazier/Nolan Mustang Barn, but I have nothing against MU.

How did you place the order? Phone, mail, email, online?

Your question is kinda like "Why do 6-year-olds fall over on their bikes?"

Because they just got their car, and are just starting to order parts for them. Experienced owners either already bought most of the stuff they'll ever need, or are able to avoid the pitfalls of obtaining parts.

I wouldn't use MU because they make me enter my card info before I get a total.

Interesting. I've looked elsewhere when online shopping for the same reason.
