remove ignition switch?

remove ignition switch?
I know how to remove the keyway from the ignition switch. I just can't seem to remove the switch itself from the dash. Does the bezel unscrew or is there a trick or special tool required to remove the electronic ignition switch from the dash?
Thanks for any help!

I have a new ignition switch and ignition plug to put on the car. The current one just has individual wire plugs crimped on it and a bunch of electrical tape making a mess out of the back of it. A home-made wiring job done by some kid in the past, probably trying to wire a radio or something without a wiring manual.
The new switch looks like it has a spring that would hold it in place (press in and turn the bezel/collar) Is this correct? I don't have a new bezel that attaches to the switch, but there does not seem to be any threads to screw it onto.
I really don't want to mess with the back/wires since it looks like they may break off very easily and with the position of the connectors behind the dash, I can't tell which wire would go where.
Do I push in on the ignition switch from behind while rotating the bezel on the outside/front of the dash?

You have to hold the bezel against the dash, and push on the switch and rotate. The bezel is held from rotating by a little keyway, so turning the switch will quickly disconnect the two.
I puzzled over this one for a while before I finally figured it out, don't feel bad.
