windshield washer pump & parts
I picked up a 65 FB that does not seem to have the Windshield washer bag, brackets, tubing, etc. I don't seem to be able to located the windshield washer pump. Is it (supposed to be) mounted in the engine compartment? If so, there are probably wires that need to be with the pump as well....

The washer system was an optional extra in 65, part of the "visibilty group", which also included remote mirror, day/nite mirror, and 2-speed wipers. You can buy everything you need to upgrade to a washer system, new.

Mine has an electric pump and two speed wipers, but not remote mirror or day/night set up. The bag sits on the very front driver side corner with a little pump below it a few inches further back. It looks almost like a starter soleniod.

Oddly the 66 2-speed setup included a pulse-type pump, while all other 64-66 setups had a rotary-style pump.
