Question Autolite 1100 Vaporize on EBAY; Worth it?

I want to put a VAporizer carb on my Stang but not ready to pay $475. There is one on EBAY but here is what the description reads:

"Here is Pont Carbs Autolite 1100 Vaporizer carburetor. Theis carb has about 100 miles on it. Honestly, the reason I am selling it, is that on my car after this carb warmed up, the RPMs will creep up about 50 RPMs, then slowly back down, then creep up again. Might have been my car, not sure. It might actually work fine for you. So just know this carb may have some issues. Other than that, the carb ran, and operated decent. And, it in pretty good condition, as you can see. It is for 1965-1966 Mustangs with the 200 cubic inch six, Automatic transmission (dual diaphragms), and incorporates a spark valve for the earlier non-smog loadamatic distributors."

My question is, is this guys problem serious and could I expect the same problem when its on my car? I don't want to get stuck with another problem.
