Jimmy--At least do yourself a favor a take a trip to cpr street machines shop in san diego. These guys are passionate about mustangs, and they build incredible cars. I would not ship your car when there are so many great local shops. CPR is A+

I second CPR as a shop you need to check out. Look at the threads they have posted here. You can easily get in touch with them since they are close to LA and are a member of this website. I have a guy working on my car that I trust here outside of Birmingham that has done cars for SEMA and had several featured in a magazine. It is a small two man shop but with so many custom builders in CA I'd check around locally. Like several have said you can drive down on a weekend and see how your project is progressing.

Having said that build it like you want it. You're paying for it, but keep an open mind I have changed my mind a few times as my car has been worked on and now have a vision of what I want.

Good Luck but I'd agree with eZ.

Hey you know what, I made a mistake, I meant Mustangs Etc in Van Nuys. Theres a guy named Mike O Brian that appears to be very good with mustangs. Thats what i read in a mustang magazine. Just curious if anybody here had any experience with them. Im gonna try to do everything and anything I can myself because thats the whole purpose of classic mustangs, learning and doing it yourself in my opinion, but it doesnt hurt to know of someplace that you go to when you cant do something yourself.

Im with the guys reccomending CPR Streetmachines.. I know Dustin personally and not only is he a awesome guy but he does top notch work. He doesnt do paint but the body shop behind CPR does show quality work and works very closely with him to produce some awesome cars. Ive been in his shop numerous times and am allways calling him for something or other. Check out his work at cprstreetmachines.com tell him Justin with the 69 says hi.
