As mentioned in a previous thread, I'm meeting with someone who has a pile of 66 parts to sell. I received some pictures today and I saw two new fenders in the collection. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to identify fenders created from original ford tooling vs new tooling?
Original ford fenders will have a date code on the fender lip under the hood, repop fenders will not. I don't believe the new ford tooling fender will have date codes on them but usually have a ford part number either spray painted on the inside or will have a paper tag with ford numbers on it.
