Default 4 lug to 5 lug

hellow all you RUSTANG HEADS i been doing a total restore on a 66 coupe And what i need to know is there any cheeper way to change my 4 bolt wheels to 5 bolt wheel i already have a 8" and a 9" rear ends just dont want to pay 1000. in front end parts think theres got to be a way please help thanks

Yeah, a disc brake/V8 conversion kit will do it. If your looking to spend less than about $800, though, you better get lucky at a junkyard.

Like I said. You see, on a 66 he'll need the brake kit, and all new V8 steering gear.

^^^ +1 on this.
For our '65 I got everything up front new and the parts for it and it cost around $800+ for the CSRP Mustang brake kit, all new front stock suspension, V8 steering parts, and also upgrading to the Shelby quick steering arms and that was with getting free V8 front spindles.

The Disc Brake Setups for your Mustang are avaiable in many forms.

Some Cheap, some High Dollar.

The Difference is very hard to Establish, as need, financines are factors in all our budgets.

A old time factor has never deminished--You get what you pay for.
