Question Installing Pertronix Ignitor 6 cylinder

O.k. I have seen the video's on youtube on how to install this electric ignition upgrade. My question is does this really make an improvement or does the stock points do the same job?

it's an improvement
you will never have to adjust points again (about every 1000 miles)

if the points get out of adjustment then the ignition will be out as well. if the points wear they open sooner which causes ignition to fire sooner (advanced).
