Default Best Carb for a 351w?

Im looking into geting a new 4b for my 351. Im Sick of this holly street avenger. the idle screw is backed all the way out and I still cant keep the idle down no matter how many springs i use?

what do I need to know when picking one out and what are some of your favorites ?

Did you check for a vacuum leak?..Are the secondaries open too far?

Is the choke fast idle speed screw hanging the throttle? Also check for vacuum leaks.

I'm with the others, you have issues you need to figure out first before just throwing parts at it. FWIW, I'm running the Street Avenger 670 and while it needs jetted up a bit out of the box, its a great carb. I had an Edelbrock 1405 600cfm on there before and it worked just fine as well, but had a vacuum leak through a worn throttle shaft opening from someone using too strong of a throttle return spring.

Alyone running the Edelbrock Top End RPM Package, 400 hp from a 351w, curious to see how accurate their claim is.
