Default who has test drove car with borgenson steering conversion?

over all how does it feel at high speeds? On the freeway is the huge dead spot gone? ive found alot of info about the box, but not too many people giving a good description on how it feels on the road... thanks..

my plan was to run the aftermarket pump and the manual steering adapter.

I have the same issue on my 65. Dead spot above 55 which feels like wind pushing the car around.

I am considering it, but I have to do away with the Zbar clutch linkage for it to fit. Considering going to a hydraulic clutch later and then trying this out. It's either that or shell out 1,500.00 or more on rack and pinion.

Yes, I have considered the cable clutch as well. That unit is suppose to take the slack out of the steering. It's irritating, especially on the interstate. I have changed out most of my front end parts including the control valve and centerlink but the roadwalk, over/under steer, or whatever you want to call it is still there. It acts like 30 to 40 mph side winds are hitting the car..lol.

If I end up installing it, I will let you know how it worked.

From what I can see, the steering box is working fine. I get immediate action when someone turns the steering wheel while I am watching the control valve stud.
