So, all I have to buy is the muffler? (probably won't do a tip, at least not immediately)
From what I can tell, her entire exhaust system is bone stock.
Also, is that link for the muffler you used on your Camaro/Firebird? Would that work for my Stang or would I have to find a version more compatible?

Also, if anyone could give me a ballpark on what it would cost to do the dual headers setup, that'd be cool too. I really liked the way that Falcon sounded in the video. That would be nice to hear. I'll likely go for cheaper, but it's good to know I have choices.

If you go that route, then just have the tail pipes turned down behind the valance like the factory setup would have been.

I used that Camaro/Bird muffler on my 65 when it had the 200.

If you go with a header or split manifold, do what BA Mustang did. A really loud I6 sounds terrible in person.

Ah, cool. I found the Mustang equivalent, but it was 86 bux on the same site.
I'm assuming it's not a problem if the inlet pipe is smaller than the 2 1/4" inlet on the Walker you suggested?

I'm not sure what you mean by the Mustang equivalent. Do you have a link? The one I used on my Mustang was for an F body. You should be fine using one for 2 inch inlet. You don't want bigger than 2.25 tail pipes though. I would probably just keep them at 2 inch.

I was looking at the compatibility list for the link you gave me and it's mostly for Pontiac, Buicks, Chevies, and Oldsmobiles.

This one says its for Mustangs. Does it matter which one I use?

Your link looks smaller, but the inlet on it is 2.25. I think my pipes might be 1 3/4, or maybe a little bigger.

Good choice to change the muffler to control sound. IMO that muffler is huge at about 2ft long, and will be heavy to hang. Maybe look at something with similar features but a smaller overall length

It shouldn't matter. Mine was for GM cars.

It wasn't hard to hang it, besides that factory transverse muffler is about the same size.

Awesome. I just might have that done, then. It's definitely cheaper. It's just about the same length as the one I have now, but it's a little wider by about 2 inches, give or take. Should be fine.
