Single bowl master cylinder to dual bowl?
I have a 66 that is going to need a new master cylinder. If I get a dual bowl to put on the thing what else will I need to do? Is a conversion kit or something?
This is safer right, having two bowls rather than one?

Yeah, if you blow a line or seal, the front or rear brakes that aren't blown will still work. You'll need a dual master, master cylinder lines, connector for the rear line, and a plug for the divider block where the rear line will be removed. Glazier/Nolan or any other well-stocked dealer should be able to provide these.

I just did the same conversion on mine.

I bought a reman 67 dual MC from Oreilly's ($17) and then some line and fittings. You will need adapter fittings for going from 3/16 line to the larger sizes on the MC. So just have them find the correct ones when the MC comes in.
After that, all you do is swap the pedal rod from the 66 into the 67. Remove the rear brake line from the distribution block and plug the new hole on the distribution block. Next run the rear brakes to the front bowl, and run a line from the rear bowl to the distribution block that now powers only your front brakes.
The instructions on CJ pony parts are the same as I've described here. However you can save some bucks if you put the hit together yourself.
Finally, bleed at nausium.
