Default Aeros & Autos

Yesterday was the annual Aeros & Autos show at Ellington Field in Houston, Tx. As you arrive, they take a photo of your car next to a war bird. This year happened to feature two P-51 Mustangs. I got there a little late, so only one photographer/plane was being used. I took advantage of the other plane sitting alone.

The plane....The blue one is Cripes A' Mighty. I was so excited I forgot to read your message.

Grim Reaper is still my fav but Cripes A' Mighty is a rare find and pretty famous so is Gun fighter and Big Beautiful Doll (someone else here has a picture of their stangs next to Gun Fighter)

Good Score!

The Lone Star Flight Museum is in Galveston. There are old war birds on display there. Plus, we have the Wings Over Houston air show every Fall. So its not uncommon to walk outside and see an old war bird fly by. Seeing a B-17 flying around is still pretty cool to see.
