Default Tires close to inside fender well

OK,another question. I finally got my Wilwood 12 1/4" disc on all 4 wheels, new rear end in, and my new 17" AR500 wheels with BF Goodrich G-Force SS AS tires on. Front 7" rims tires 215/50/17, rear 8" rims tires 245/45/17. Looks great but my rear wheels are less than1" from the inside lip on my fender. I am afraid in hard cornering they are going to hit and cut my tires. The springs are stock with new KYB shocks. I really don't want to raise it unless that is the only option. Need any suggestions. Also what is a good replacement spring and what about bushings? Thanks

I'd probably take it somewhere if possible since its a new paint. However, all they really do is take a big hairdryer to warm up the paint so it doesn't crack and then use a fender rolling tool. Some people have even used baseball bats.

I had my crappy paint job when I did mine so I used a hammer.

Note to self, roll fenders BEFORE paint.

Are you talking about the inner fender well or outer?
Poly bushings help a lot with side travel.
How old are your springs?

Explain 1". Are the tires 1" inside the lip or 1" lower than the lip (as in it might hit the lip on big bumps)?

If it's 1" inside the lip you should be fine. Mine are about 3/8" inside the lip and I haven't had any problems. I'm running Maier Racing springs with poly bushings in front and rubber at the rear shackles. That will tighten it up. If you're really concerned, you could use a panhard bar. With old springs and worn out rubber bushings you might have trouble.

If it is 1" under the lip you could get wheels with more backspace to pull the tires inside the wheelwell (which is what I have).

As far as rolling, I considered that but if the tire comes up about 1" more (like on a big bump) it's going to hit the inside of the wheelwell anyway. Better to get the right sized wheels and do it right. There's more than enough room for an 8" wheel with 245 tires. I have about 1 1/2" clearance on the inside.

Hard to know exactly what his problem is but since he is talking about the back I would assume he means the quarter panels are to close to the tires. Pictures would really help this post.

Negative camber? Stiffer shocks/leaf springs? KYB gas-adjust or gr2s?
