Looks like Currie sells them in alum. (desc. wrong?) as a kit, $7 ain't bad, shipping's probably more...

2X the cost at Summit? but won't ship until 5/27, bet they're on BO.

Looks like JEGS makes up their own part number but has them in stock for $10.

I don't know how you're going to torque the hub screws w/o an access hole, that would be a good question for Curries tech line, maybe they know a trick.

You don't have to put those copper washers back on the rear end, I never have put them back, The gasket seals the housing.

Here is what I used, new nuts and washers from McMaster

1 Pack 90636A051 Zinc-Yellow Plated Grade 8 STL Center Locknut Hex, 3/8"-24 Thread Sz, 9/16" Width, 21/64" Height, Packs of 25 $8.63
2 1 Pack 94397A641 Copper Shim .064" Thick, 3/8" ID, 5/8" OD, Packs of 10 $9.30

The copper washers are available from most Mustang parts suppliers. I know John's Mustang Parts in Houston carries them.

The studs in the housing are splined and pressed in. If you don't use the copper washers lube can get passed the splines, weep past the threads and cause the rear end to leak. I have put rear ends together with and without the copper washers but you are much better of with them. The gasket alone is not enough.

thanks for all the help guys...currie gave me the part number but it was 13 bucks from summit! so the guy on the phone found a different brand for 3.99 for a set of 10 copper crush washers. good deal if i do say so myself haha
