Default 67 mustang exhaust

Im working on a 67 and putting a v8 in her and gonna put it in this summer and thinking of putting header mounted purple horrnies on her, any thaughts?

I took my glasspack's off my 67 and went the flowmaster 40 route with an H pipe. It all comes down to the sound your looking for.

I kinda wanna be loud but sound good and obnoxious, since it wont be driven as a daily.

can you show me a pic of what purple hornies look like, I tried googlin' for 'em but no luck, sounds like they may be similar to glass packs

this might be the sound your looking for. make sure check out sound bites from all options.

What size is your motor/cam/carb size? Long tube or shorties? All these options change the tone of your exhaust. Just remember you still need to drive the car. Loud exhausts take a toll on you when its rumbling for an hour straight

It is a 289 with a performer intake, a mild cam, carb is in the 700 range. long tube headers 3" collectors
