My existing Mag 500 wheels have the standard OEM thick flange. We would have to fab up a spacer or something to make the shank nuts work. That is a bit scary at 150mph.

I hate running mis-matched tires and wheels, but this is really just for the track and race events.
I know theres a huge price difference, but i just like the look of the Aluma Stars 2.0.The Pro Stars just look generic because everybody has them. Theres also a difference in weight too.I know Centeline came out with some new forged wheels that were pretty cheap(or cheaper).

I have to agree with Isk, the Pro Stars were great back in the day but have not been updated at all. Centerline has some great wheels available at great prices and look like quality wheels.

I have been looking around and came across a picture of Parnelli Jones' Bud Moore 1970 Mustang Mach 1.

That is not an unattractive wheel if I can find it in a mag style lug. Any ideas who might care them?

I found PS Engineering Vintage Wheels that make a 15" T/A II wheel that looks close. Not sure if it is a mag lug though.

For the most part you'll only find mag style lugs on aluminum or mag wheels that have the deep flange bolt surface. The Ansen Sprints I had use those deep shank lugnuts and so do most of the older aluminum and magnesium wheels. Steel wheels don't have the deep flange so they use the 60* conical seat.

You can't really machine a steel wheel for mag lugs because it needs a much deeper flange. They are pretty hard to find these days, apparently. They sure help on the track though.
