Default which suspension set up is best?

So, with my 9" rear build coming together it looks like it's time for me to do the suspension. i want to do the rear, rear suspension and traction bars all at once. A while ago i was looking into the Grab-A-Trak kit but more recently i was looking at the Split Mono-Leafs from Calvert racing and then piecing together a front end kit myself (probably with Moog Parts). Id go coil over in the front but thats out of my budget. So, for a car that will run a 408 stroker and will spend most of its life on the street on drag radials, do i go with the Grab-A-Trak complete kit? or the Calvert Racing Split Mono Leafs? Whichever kit i get will get a nice set of Caltracs added to it . Thanks for the help guys.

just for clarification, the grab a trak kit is a COMPLETE suspension kit, where as the split monos are just the rear leafs and ill have to get all the front end stuff seperately.

this is the grab-a-trak kit:
http://www.mustangsplus.com/xcart/19...dling-Kit.html

notice it includes almost everything...

where as the split monos are 378 just for the leafs...
http://calvertracing.com/splitmonoleaf.php

then i'd have to put together a front end kid and then get traction bars...not sure what to get here

The Calvert setup is going to be more oriented towards drag racing. But a 4 link would be best for off the line traction.

to be honest with you guys (as embarrassing as this is)...i don't even know what a 4 link is lol. so i wouldnt know it's advantages. i thought it had to be custom made and was a lot of $$. no matter what, i need all new suspension. its sagging badly

A 4 link has links and coil overs not leaf springs.A 4 link looks like this http://stang-aholics.com/showitem.as...e%20%20Housing or there is a 3 link too http://stang-aholics.com/ShowItem/10...ion%20Kit.aspx

I don't like the Grab-A-Trak kits. They use polyurethane bushings all over, and I've heard several complaints about the shock quality. I prefer to piece things together, choosing better parts.

Talk to John @ OpenTracker Racing. At the very least, you need a set of roller perches and relocated UCA mounting. Some of the ORP upper control arms would be nice as well.

Spend some money on good shocks. Some Edelbrock IAS or custom-valved Bilsteins will give you good damping without sacrificing ride quality.
