Default brake pedal bracket

I am in the process of putting a roller bearing kit in my mustang, but can't get the brake pedal bracket out of my car. I have all the bolts out but the steering wheel seems to be in the way. How do I remove the whole steering column or is there something I am missing. I assume that I have to remove this bracket to install the bearings. Thanks.

You need to take the steering column loose from the dash so it can hang down a little.

wait till you have to put it back in....that was the pain when i did mine. I have a 65 though, it wasn't to bad once i realized i needed to take the fresh air vent out to make it easier.

Ya, I put it back in right away, just left the pedals for now. Hope I never have to do that again, my back is killing me right now, and I took the seat out.

Oh, I start by taking the seat out. All of five minutes to do, and so much easier getting under the dash.

Yeah I should have said what GT said. Taking the seat out is a must. Sorry I didnt give more detailed info about that and the vent.
