Default Anyone ever hear of a Bishamon Auto Lift??

One is for sale locally. Its a chain over hydraulic 2 post low profile model (111"). I called the company in CA and the lady told me they haven't sold that lift in 15 years. It was made in Japan. It seems well made and has been in use. A quick search for parts turned up some related to that model. Seems that some of the Benwil parts will interchange.
He is asking $950.

I haven't heard of this brand before, but imo it is probably better than a new made in China lift. It IS at least 15 years old and hasn't fallen yet...

Barring any bad wear, I would probably buy it for that price, they are pretty simple machines and maintenance should be minimal.

I love my lift, it is one of the best investments I have ever made.

Thanks, I have searched and what little I did find was positive. I would suppose made in Japan is a hell of lot better than made in china.

quite a few lifts use the same parts. As stated above they are simple machines if the hoses are in good working shape.
