Talking Anybody has pictures of their interiors in glossy paint?

My car is a slight restomod...and to make it a tad flashier...I'm leaning towards glossy black on the interior metal...but I need to see a few pics here first...pretty please...lol.

I also don't want to go the spray can route...my painter will give it the "gun" treatment...and will add clearcoat for extra protection.

Ok, satin and semi-gloss purists...let me have it...lol.

No pics at the moment, but I flattened it at first then glossed it on recoats as it looked dead. Dash, a pillars, inside area of doors, rear kick panels. The gloss black is nice with one exception - the rear kick panels beside the rear seat are a bit overkill in gloss. They stand out and need a bit less gloss due to their size. It's not enough to do over as I still like the overall results, but if done again...

Cool!

I will paint the rear kick panels...but they have vinyl covers anyway...so the black will be covered...but it's a nice thought that underneath the vinyl covers...the panels will be painted.

Now...for anyone else...if you use the traditional spray cans...

Do they need any clear coat?

Or are interiors just painted with stand alone paint?

Ok...I had some metal test-painted...and it was too glossy for my interior...lol.

Ok...I'll give in...I will use satin spray cans.

How many cans will I need?

I'm painting the console, doors, rear quarter panels...but I'm using bedliner for the floor panels.

Two, three, four cans?

Thanks!

get 5, i hate running out of spary paint when i have a small section left, also your going to want to do multiple coats, then spray it with a couple clear coats (they also have this in a can) the more layers of paint and clear you have the tougher it will be.

i suggest 3 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear.

Wow...thanks for taking the time in showing me your awesome interior.

Is that glossy white with undercoating?

It's beautiful!
