BAD NEWS ABOUT MY STANG
Well, I knew that sooner or later....something would happen to my stang. I didnt know what, or when, but something was bound to happen.
The sad part, is that when it did happen, it was my fault. Today I was pulling into a parking space, and for some idiotic reason I went a little too far when pulling in and hit a van that was in a space next to the one I was parking in. So, I got out and had the usual police report done. Insurance will pay for theirs, but not mine. It really isn't that bad. I have to buy a new piece to go around the head-light. The funny part is that his van was really screwed up and there was barely a dent on mine except for the headlight trim being messed up.

Yes, later in the day I accepted that it could have been a lot worse. The fender is bent in a little from where the tail-light housing pushed in on it. But its so small you can barely notice once I get a new tail-light housing.

Are you going to take it to a place to have them paint it, or are you going to do it yourself.
The reason I ask is because paint comes in a minimum of a pint or quart. If you only have that headlight bucket done, then that's a lot of paint wasted. You might as well go ahead and get a fender and have them paint that too.

Actually, when i got it painted about 4 months ago, he said he wanted to re-paint the exact same fender that I hit today. I know the guy that owns the body shop so he won't rip me off for the little body work that needs to be done. I don't need a whole new fender, thats a waste. Besides, the part is only like $35 then I have to pay for the paint and stuff.
