Can I Supercharge my 289 mustang???
I just got a Powerdyne Supercharger BD11 kit for a 94-95 mustang 5.0 can I some how get it to fit my 65 Mustang 289???? I had already bought some bbk serpentine pulleys elliminated my PS got an elec. Waterpump and was planning on only running one belt from the crank pulley to the alternator,
CAN I SOME HOW GET THIS SUPERCHARGER TO WORK ON THIS 289???

You'll need a blow by carb with mechanical secondaries as well. You'll also need a hood to encase the carb which your 90s kit probably didn't come with unless you already have fuel injection on your 289. You've already addressed the fuel pressue issue. You will need a carb that can handle that extra fuel pressure, I think a normal mechanical pump runs at 6psi anything more will flood your carb out.
It's 100% doable with a few minor modifications. I have been toying with weither to put a paxton head mounted supercharger on or droping in a 428. I've been just saving up money and doing research on what is best or what the difficulties will be in either.

that's a centrifugal type charger and those are the way to go IMO.
Also you should know that forced induction on a carburetor can be a PITA to keep running right and it's not streetable IMO. If you're gonna add FI then you should look into swapping to fuel injection as well.

That is not true.Once the carb is jetted and set, there is no reason it should run any different.As long as the boost stays the same and the regulator has a 1:1 boost reference, there shouldnt be any issues.
