The 67 and 68 were almost identical. Small trim items were most of it. The only significant things were safety upgrades on the 68, including collapsible steering column, shoulder belts, low-profile door handles and dash *****, breakaway rearview mirror mount, seat back latches, padded seat tops, etc.

The immediate way to tell is that the 68 had side lights in the rear quarter panels.
The 68 also has a passenger side torque box.

Actually they are just reflectors but they do have side marker lights in the front fenders..

I'm a fan of 67's. There are several things I don't like about 68's. The steering wheel, front seats and side markers. I like first years of body styles change and feel they retain more value, unless you buy a rare 68 1/2 428 car.

69 fastbacks seem to be worth quite a bit more then a 65, 66, 67, 68 fastbacks something about the styling.
I would go for a 69, though all years are awesome.

.
I would disagree if we are just talking a bare bones fastback..The eleanor craze has put the 67s into crazy money...If you can't find a 67 the 68 is a very close next best thing for that purpose...
The 69 and 70s do have some very expensive models when you consider the boss and CJ models..The 69s are a little more "muscular" looking in my opinion.

The front gille is different. As well as the louver things behind the doors. Also, the hood scoops were different from 67-68.

If you mean the optional louvered hood, that was the same, 67-68.
