Default first thread front end rebuild how far should i go

this is my first post and my first attempt to rebuild a car since i was in my teens.....i have a 1973 mustang convertable and recently took out the engine...while its out i was thinking about rebuilding the front end...it drove ok and this car is not for show just something cool to drive around in......how far should i go with rebuilding the front end and is there anything else i should do up there while the engine is out

there are so many rebuild kits out there ...does anyone have a preference in manufacture or extent of redoing the front end?

well honestly id only replace whats bad...this will probably be your upper and lower ball joints and the lower control arm bushings...and checking your tie rods for play too....

while your engine if out id paint the engine compartment and replace any wiring and brake lines etc that are in need of repair

+1 on painting the engine bay. even if its not a show car and just your driver, its still an easy thing to do.

while your doing the front end, how about the steering?
