Somehow I think UPS still charges for it, so I gotta think they build it into the price of the parts.

This happen once before to me as well. Keep an eye out for the items they mark as 5-7 business days that it willl ship. Those are the only items I ever had problems with. I buy almost all my parts from them because of the free shipping and competitive prices.

I've ordered a crapload of parts from CJP over the last 6 months. I get a phone call every time something is backorderd, even when I comment on the order that they do not need to call.

so far I have not been in any time crunch for parts and no issue to wait, since my car is still just a shell.

I am guessing that with their sale last weekend, they are processing thru a ton of orders and may have had sudden out of stock situations on some popular items. I suspect you will get a phone call regarding the backorder but it may take a day or 2 longer than normal before they get to you.

I have placed a lot of orders through CJ's over the years and many items have been on backorder. However, I am patient with most things as they run frequent sales and always ship free of charge. I have yet to find another company that does this. My recommendation in the future would be to call and place your order over the phone. They can tell you right there if they have it or not. I have done this a couple times in the past on items I needed right away.
