Cam gear removel

Default Cam gear removel

I have the bolt and fuel pump eccentric off, So how do i remove the gear? Do you just pry it off?

Yup. The chain is still on right?
Then you have to remove the lower gear on the crank as well. (in one operation)

Yeah, i yanked it off earlier, but my chain was so loose that it slipped off the bottom gear. It's all ok though, everything is still lined up. Now im taking the chance to repaint my timing cover, water pump, pullies, and radiator. It's all looking real nice.
