Need advice for running a Shaker hood.

Thanks for the advice. That is a very nice setup. What intake are you running and what did you do to make it fit? It looks like a great match so I am hoping I can copy your setup. I love the looks of the shaker and am willing to sacrifice some power for the original look. Thanks again.

i'm running a vic jr.

plenty of pics can be found at the link below. you'll understand the basics of what was involved.

if i had to do it again, i would have angle milled the intake carb flange taking 1/4" inch off. the vic jr. sit level which really causes issues with clearance.

also if you think you may want to install a 5-6 speed, then now would be the time as it can change the engine angle.
