Now my throttle sticks
Well I was really pleased that my other problem got cleared up and I feel bad asking so many questions on here but this is the most knowledgable forum i've been to. Here lately (cold weather) my throttle likes to get stuck. It use to on occasion and i'd just bump the pedal and it would quit. It has gotten to the point that it will get stuck driving and hold the car at about 35 mph. I noticed my choke seemed to be getting stuck on the accelerator when trying to return.
Here is how the choke is positioned
and here is how it gets stuck when driving.
I have heard that the dual spring kit for the return would help, but is it really that simple of a fix?
Also would it be possible to adjust the choke position so far back that the butterfly would be almost all the way open but that lever on the side wouldn't be able to catch the throttle linkage?
Any help is really appreciated, Thanks

Based on your comments and the photos' your choke coil is set at about 2 notches rich. Loosen the 3 screws and rotate the cap2 marks towards the center index mark tighten it up and see if that helps. The choke coming on pulls the fast idle cam up into the throttle linkage by design. Typically the carb specs will list the idle speed that is set by fast idle cam- 1500-1700 RPM is a good ball park figure for a choke on speed. Also make sure you have 12 v on the red wire and make sure the ground tab is clean with good connection

Use one of these adapters, it will use the large hole on top & get you some clearance, it fits edelbrock carb too. I ground a little of the thickness from the back side of large hole to get smooth action.
