Default lost door plate info

So my 67 didn't come with the door plate. Is there anyway to recover these info plates or just the stock info on them?
The VIN only says so much.

thanks

LOL..Is there any way to recover any of the plate data?
AND How am I supposed to know id it was an "Early or Late model"?

Vin# 7R01T128369 I have decoded this but want this info if possible:

Body- hard top code?
Color- it was a blue color no sure if nightmist blue or Acapulco blue?
Trim- Meaning? Non AC, No console, standard interior, no tach or clock indash. Not sure what else is needed.
Date- Early or late?
D.S.O- Dont know what this means?
Axle- Im guessing 7.5 or 8" due to it being an I6 car
Trans-Auto, C4 for the I6?

Thanks for the help if available!

not really. You can get some information by decoding your VIN. Stuff like build date, trim, etc. But getting down to specific stuff that was only on the data plate, you're SOL.

Not that I know of

You can essentially figure everything out except for the DSO and build date

DO you know what the code is for hard top or coupe? Or any of the other ones listed above? Id like to fill out as much as possible.

What the hell is the DSO?

HOw can I tell if it is an "early or late" production date?

Thanks for the help guys.

If the hood is original it is a late production. In 67 they all had the F-O-R-D letters on the hood, and then in late 67 they ran out of those hoods and went to the 68 style hoods which did not have those letters. Also check and see if your steering setup has a rag joint, if so it is a late model.

EDIT: just realized doing a google image search my car shows up 2 times.

All the door plate date is recoverable for a 67 by getting a Marti report. If you have a 65 or 66 you are out of luck because all the information was lost. Get on the Marti web site and request a basic report. It should have everything you need. They can even stamp you out a new door data plate. Of course it is all for a price but money well spent I would say.
