coil spring removal

RE: coil spring removal
What Soaring said.... Be Careful....Very Careful. And make sure you have a good compressor.
I did this on my 72 last fall and it was no day at the beach. Take it slow. If the coil gets loose while it is being compressed it could cause a lot of damage to you or your stang.

RE: coil spring removal
i just did this today on my 67' also. managed to get the springs out without the compressor. i would really recommend using the compressor as some of the bolts i took out didnt really feel all that safe with the spring still installed. also i broke the spindles taking it apart, which need to be replaced anyways.
good luck
