Default Vibration, humming sound from pass side fron

I have a 64.5 Mustang coupe that was restored 8 years ago. When I hit 50 there is a loud and strong vibration from the pass side front. The lugs are on tight but do not know what to look for or where to start on this issue. Any suggestions of what if could be??

As a starting point I'd take it to a service station and ask them to check the tire for balance and the front end for play (loose components.)

Absolutely...............check the tires.............I have a set of Cooper Cobra's that were on the car when I bought it. I was driving up the interstate at 75mph for around 20 minutes when I sensed something wasn't "right".....like you said.....maybe a hum? Anyway, pulled over......walked around the car an saw nothing amiss.....got back in....drove about 100 feet and the left front tire literally detonated!!! Blew out most of the sidewall!! I eased back over without incident. Once I got the car home (wrecker) I discovered all of the tires were visibly misshapen!! I am SO glad id didn't let go while I was still at speed!!!! CHECK YOUR TIRES FOLKS!!!

sounds like a front wheel bearing... pull the wheels off and check the bearings.

your better off if its a wheel bearing. much cheaper to replace than a tire. ofcourse if you do the work yourself. otherwise a shop might charge you alot to fix the bearings.
