Xargon-

Thanks for all your help. This is a great mod.

I am going to run 1 1/4" spacers with the metal carpet seat spacers in hopes to not have to cut the plastic seat trim. My buddy made me a set from aluminum (See attached). If I do have to trim the seat plastic what did you use to cut it?

Question:
"If your going to get the plastic for the drivers side get the Raise/lower handle cap as well it will fit right into the hole that the lever leaves when taken out (the pic with the round hole filled in)."

Is this what you had to do? Ford Dealer sells it?

I am not going to mess with the weight sensor either. How did you get that other part off as it appears to be rivited. Did you just drill it out?

I ordered new tracks for this mod as I am selling my Complete Pony Deluxe interior with old seat tracks so they should work like butter!

Again thanks for all your help in advance

i would imagine you can get those plastic bits from ford i had the manual seats to begin with so i just had to pop the cap off the handle and it fits right into the hole left by the handle when you remove it. i just used my dremel to trim it and sanded the edges smooth.
and i just drilled the rivets out to get that black box out of the seat.

I went with the 1 1/4" Spacers vs the 3/4" you used. I did not have to cut the plastic on the side of the seat this way. Also you do not need to bend the lever with this spacer. I plan to run the Mustang to Fear one piece headliner so the extra 1/2" didn't bother me.

Very nice im am 6' so with 3/4 it leave me with 2 1/2" or so of head room this is with the stock headliner am looking at the MTF headliner as well just because it looks like its wayy easy to install compared to the regular headliner

Hey just ran across this wondering if you ever got the rear seat to fit as im going down the same road and i am temped to buy the rear seat also. Got any more pics of this i see one with it in but is the back of the rear seats way over the rear package tray to where it looks goofy? Did you have to modify anything to get the rear seats to work other then im sure the side panels with need something? Thanks

Its will fit but not really my taste. Iv'e decided to recover my original seat in 07' fabric to match the front. I believe the back of the seats sit about 3-4 inches above the package tray. The seat is smaller then the original so you have about 1-2 inches on each side and you will have to cut off the existing brackets on the car that hold the original seat on and somehow mod the rear seat to fit in. I'm sure it can be done just too much modding messing around for me.

So does it look goofy when looking through the back window at the back of the 07 rear seats sticking up 3-4 in. Also do the 07 rear seats stick up so far that you can see parts of them that are not covered by leather so you would have to make a custom package tray?
Thanks
